Prior to Immunex, Robin worked at Ogilvy & Mather Public Affairs in Washington, DC, where she managed work for a variety of health and environmental clients, including working on the America Responds to AIDS campaign in 1988.
Robin earned a Bachelor of Journalism degree in News-Editorial Writing (minor in Science Writing) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has served on many non-profit Boards including: WA/Alaska Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation (1999-2006), Temple Beth Am (Board of Directors and Chair of the Religious School Board 2006-2008), Women’s Bioethics Project (2004-2007), Washington Biotechnology Foundation (President from 1995-1997), Seniors Making Art (1994-1997), and the Washington, DC Junior Chamber of Commerce (1989-1994).
